Celeste River (Tenorio Volcano)

Service Description

We’ll head out early along the northern highway, passing through beautiful countryside and mountain views, on the way to Tenorio Volcano National Park. Once there, you’ll hike through the rainforest to see the park’s highlights: the magical Río Celeste Waterfall, the calm Blue Lagoon, the bubbling volcanic springs, and the famous Teñidero, where the water turns its amazing turquoise blue. Along the trail, keep your eyes open—you might spot monkeys, toucans, or even a sloth! After the hike, we’ll recharge with a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch at a local spot. Then comes the part that makes this tour truly special: we are the only company from San José with exclusive access to a private property where you can actually swim in Río Celeste’s blue waters. It’s refreshing, relaxing, and an experience you’ll never forget. To wrap up the day, we’ll stop at Caldera Beach for a sweet treat—homemade ice cream—while enjoying a gorgeous Pacific sunset before heading back to San José.
